There are 28 European countries in the pan-European excellence community, the central office of which is located in Brussels. Each country has its own organisation. The one in Finland was established in 1966 and is called Laatukeskus Excellence Finland. I have been its Managing Director since March 2006.
Compared to most other countries Excellence Finland is considered as forerunner of excellence and innovations. Our visions and views regarding the competitiveness of European countries and companies are asked in many occations, whenever the Europeans meet. This interview was made in summer 2010, when I visited UK.
